We're all good artists. And when we do things wrong, we blame it on the client 😂
But no, really. We do.
Did you know you can blink even when your eyes are closed?
Relax your eyes, otherwise we struggle. Talking also makes our job more difficult. Hence why we play spa music, hoping you'd fall asleep 🤞🏼
Lashing is a serious skill to master. But a true Expert will master troubleshooting when all odds are against them.

🤰 To Lash or not to lash...what’s yours thoughts🤰
Ever wondered why us lash artists are reluctant to lash a 🤰 pregnant mummy?.
Increased progesterone and estrogen during pregnancy causes increased oil production which we know breaks down the adhesive and can cause the extensions to pop off; pregnancy can also increase susceptibility to reactions which we know the adhesive can cause and as pregnancy progresses the baby gets bigger and when lying on their back it can block off the the bloody supply to bubba.
Do I lash a pregnant momma? YES! But with many things to consider 🛌 I position momma to lay on her sides with a pillow between her knees to take the pressure off her back and rotate her every 30-60 minutes. .
⏰ I always allow an extra 30 minutes for pregnant women on fullsets for extra toilet breaks, drinks of water and I even bring in some nibbles (grapes) so when she sits up to avoid dizziness.🤰
I recommend patch tests and on my instake form include questions about past history and current medications to consider. .
I offer a free removal and have my phone available at all times for the first 72 hours in the rare event of a reaction occurs I can do a free removal. (Hasn’t happened yet but I want to be prepared incase it does) .
I do mention it is best to ask her GP of safe medications in the unlikely event she should have a reaction she is prepared prior to the appointment. .
However the risk is also pregnant women are more sensitive to a lot of things even things they have never reacted to previously, and on the off chance mumma gets a reaction, she cannot safely take the same medications that a non pregnant client can take so it’s always best to proceed with caution advising her of this.

Ever wondered what a Lash Lift is?
A lash lift is the beauty equivalent of a push-up bra for your lashes😏
The painless treatment instantly gives them a lift and extra definition without the use of extensions or any harmful chemicals.
It takes about 60 minutes from start to finish and lasts anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks, and unlike extensions, you can rub your eyes, wear makeup and mascara; because it's just your natural lashes being curled. You just have to wait 24 hours.
In comparison a lash lift is very low maintenance and a very natural but beautiful result. Included with my lash lifts service I provide my clients elleplex to take home. .
Elleeplex advanced gel formula is the perfect daily treatment to maintain optimum lash lift results and lash health! .
Enriched with proteins, amino acids and vitamin complex ingredients such as Keratin, Arginine, Hyrolised Collagen, Allantoin and Panthenol. Specifically formulated to help restore proteins, speed up cell generation, increase potassium channels in the cells and increase moisture levels to the hair. Includes sunflower oil extract, an anti-oxidant which helps protect the hair and give longer lasting results with lash or brow tinting. .
Elleeplex is not a lash growth serum, and is designed to promote healthy natural growth of lashes. It is a clear gel coating for nourishment and can be applied daily before applying mascara!
I’m mum, wife, doctor, counselor and lash artist. What your superpower?! 🦸♀️ ⏬ ⤵️⏬
Let me tell you about this bad ass super power right here this is 2 week grow out! See how far ALL those lashes are away from the base of her natural lashes?! I have to remove and reapply all new bad boys all whilst trying not to break a sweat behind this black carbon face mask to reveal my identity to those lash fumes. When you pretty ladies keeps saying “na I don’t need infills”...but honey for the sake of your natural lashes health; oh indeed you do! Yep those bad boys gotta go because I like my lashes how I like my men...STRONG, LONG with a bit of girth 😜

🍆 BIGGER DOESNT ALWAYS MEAN BETTER 🍆 😏 .
Despite my lashes can appear extra long, I only ever go maximum 3mm above your natural lash length and sometimes.... I don’t even add length 🤫 just a bit of drama (extra fluff) with a dramatic curl. .
Few reasons being I will never jeopardise the health of your natural lashes. When they grow out they look like nasty spider legs if they are too long 🤢 but in all seriousness when they are too long for the natural eyelash to handle you risk premature lash loss (no one wants that!) due to the added weight, when they begin to grow out they will droop 😑 and annoy you. Avoid this listen and trust your lash tech...remember bigger doesn’t always mean better but thicker does 😉
