We were so lucky to get a glimpse of South Korea and Seoul in the fall, but going in the summer ensures warmer weather, and it is the perfect time to head to the beaches! :::::::
That's why it had to be included on our Summer Travel 2019 list! We made a list of the top 25 places to travel to this summer. Check it out. Link in bio.
Siwa is one of Egypt's most isolated settlements. After an 11 hour, bumpy bus ride with multiple checkpoints we arrived to this beautiful desert oasis with clear waters and a deep history.
The Shali Fortess was built in the 13th century with chunks of salt, rock and plaster. The labyrinth of huddled building housed hundreds of families.
Few outsiders were allowed in for centuries until 3 days of pouring rain in 1926 caused more damage than any invaders managed to.
Today, the EU is funding a restoration project which you can clearly see in these photos.
Let's dream, dream together to be there one day where we have always wanted to be... Traveling is that dream that tells us to never give up.

my heart has been washed away, ever so slowly by the oceans of time. each break of the surf, carrying pieces of it farther and farther away. finding its way back to the shoreline hasn't been easy, but when in life is it ever. finding comfortable in the uncomfortable has become the new norm for me. do you care to swim ...
This is a quote by Chief Tecumseh of the Shawnee Nation. It's one of my favorites because it's so very true. We spend so much time focusing on the negative and complaining without even realizing it half of the time. Unfortunately we are wired that way. It's so easy to focus on what's wrong or lacking instead of all we have to be grateful for. And there's always so much. I have a home. I have water instantly that is safe and drinkable when I turn on my taps. I am healthy and have all my physical abilities. I can breath in and out, walk where I want, see the world around with my own eyes and hear the world and it's music and sounds within it with my own ears unassisted. Those are already such amazing things to be grateful for. I have my own unique abilities, drives, and passions and so many luxuries that we view as just common in this day and age. And I'm grateful for it all. I don't have to be a millionaire to know how rich I am and I don't have to have it all to love what I got ❤️
One of the activities at the #elephantcamp is grass cutting. Man, this is no easy work. We only did it for three hours and we were tired. I can't imagine how the locals do it for more than eight hours #everyday , under the hot and humid weather. It was a humbling experience.. #elephant#elephantfun#volunteer#thailand

I had a chance to shadow and help a veterinarian treat sick elephants at the camp. So cool!!! In this photo, I am applying Saba tree, a natural insect repellant, on Humpiyao, an elephant with bad flee bites. #elephantfun#Thailand .

The Wat Rong Khun, known as the #WhiteTemple , must be the most eclectic and unique, yet so freaking coolest, Buddhist #temple in #Thailand . Before walking on the bridge, there are #hands and #skeletons sticking out of the bottomless pit. Inside the temple is a large mural with images of the Buddha, monsters, planets, the twintowers, and pop culture icons such as MichaelJackson, Superman, HelloKitty, the Avatar, FreddieKrueger, and many more. Very aesthetically beautiful and visually stimulating, indeed. #ChiangRai
