Dear #watchfam - I’d like to try something with you all.
There’s something I’ve come to believe about times of loss (which there seem to be more of these days, and I never wish on anyone). During these times, it makes the most sense to be sad, and it’s easy to be angry. And it makes the least sense / takes the most effort to smile and make others smile with you. But it’s sometimes a smile that people actually need most during those times - to feel normal, to feel like they’re not alone.
So I’m gonna try to make people smile this week. My first humble attempt is posted above - sharing a watch that made me smile the moment I saw it 😁
I’m ASKING YOU ALL TO JOIN ME by posting a watch-related pic this week that you think will make people smile, and posting it with the following hashtag:
No giveaway here, no deadline involved, no tagging requirements. And I actually don’t even care whether you use my proposed hashtag so long as you post something that makes others smile (though it would be great to find everything in one place!). I’m just trying to get as many people to smile as possible, and asking for some help to do that.
Much love to everyone across the U.S. and the whole world, this week and every day.
It just blows my mind how incredibly beautiful these movements are. It’s not just the surface finish, but also the design and architecture. @alangesoehne is likely the only non-independent manufacturer able to keep up with the movement aesthetics of high-end independent watchmaking. Oh and these happen to be my top 10 favourite @alangesoehne watches! //
