Just because it’s Wednesday and I’m feeling fabulous in this shot! Disneyland may be far away but it’s always in my heart. I can’t help it, I’m just a Disney kid!
People always ask why I love Disney so much. Well my mom is from Tampa, FL and we grew up visiting Disney every year! Most of the time it was just a day trip because her siblings were able to get us FL resident tickets. Back in the day, those babies were actually pretty cheap! I thought it was normal to go to Disney all the time. When I got older, my cheerleading competitions led us there for UCA Nationals! Then in 2011, I discovered the amazing-ness that is @runDisney and haven’t looked back. The magic isn’t just for kids, it’s for grown ups too y’all!
Story Time: I told myself that 2019 was going to be my year, just like I did every single New Years🤪 I specifically remember in the beginning of the year, being at work, and turning to @ferinchanel & @duhblizz after breaking the cork of a wine bottle and saying, “Welp, I’ll try again in 2020.” A couple broken wine corks, a little heartache, and a couple dozen buffalo spring rolls later: My dream finally came true.
March 12, 2019. I remember dreading this day as 2019 began. It would have been a year since I was in Disney with Danielle, and I had received the most unexpected and horrifying phone call that my Uncle had passed away. I woke up that morning and turned the TV on to watch @kylepallo’s DCP vlogs to distract myself from checking my email a million times after my phone interview. That’s when @andivigneau texted me, telling me a wave of acceptance letters went out that morning. I still didn’t check my email for a good 30 minutes, but when I finally did, I saw that acceptance letter and actually dropped my phone🤣🤦🏽♀️ Moral of the story: Keep dreaming. Even on your worst days, keep dreaming✨♥️
