Places to watch sunsets in Aruba🌅
📍Sunsets in Aruba can be enjoyed from pretty much everywhere, even when you’re just driving around, but here are some places I’d recommend you to visit:
🏨 From your hotel room like this amazing one @arubaoceanvillas, which as I have mentioned before is then only property that offers overwater villas on the island
🏝At the beach such as Eagle, Mangel Halto, Tres Trapi, Arashi
🍽Or during dinner at some restaurants on the beach like Atardi, Passions on the Beach, or Flying Fishbone located next to the Aruba Ocean Villas where you can even have a table by the water .
Have you been to Aruba? Which have been some of your favorite sunset spots?

Has estado en Aruba?

When I was 17 years old I got my first tattoo. I gathered up enough strength to walk up to the tattoo place, hand the artist my ID clearly saying I wasn’t 18 yet and ask for a tattoo of the word “fearless” on the inside of my middle finger. Truth be told I think I had so much conviction that the artist didn’t even question my age enough to look at the ID. He just made a photocopy and took me back to the chair.
I laugh a bit about this now because nearly 12 years later I know that the fearlessness I was searching for doesn’t actually exist. At the time I was searching for a reminder when I wanted to hit a big jump on my snowboard that I was going to be ok... that I “had it”... and being fearless seemed like the solution....
Here’s what I’ve learned though, fear isn’t the problem and it isn’t going anywhere. While I’ll likely never hit a big jump on my board ever again the fear comes up in other places... letting go of a “safe” career to follow my heart... public speaking... pouring my heart into words and putting it out there for the world to see and judge... making big scary steps towards goals with the total possibility of failing...
Sometimes our fears protect us... physiologically they’re designed to keep us alive. But more often than not these fears bubble up and we give them so much power that we stay small... and we play small with our lives...
I wish I could tell you that becoming fearless is the answer... I really do. But in reality I think what we are looking for when we seek to be fearless is actually strength... it’s courage. In a momentary boost of courage we can make a small decision that changes the whole trajectory of our lives... even if it’s just to prove to ourselves, for once, we are stronger then we think we are.
So cheers to being brave. Cheers to looking at that “thing” whatever it is and taking a big breath and saying, “I’ve got this”. Cheers to fear... and cheers to courage.

📍 Rathausplatz.
📍 Maria Theresien-Platz.
📍 Stephansplatz.
📍 Graben street.

Spot me if you can 💫
How many days are enough for Marrakech? Truth is, it will never be enough time for me! I’ve always stayed there for around a week and I always have places left to discover. I finally made it to El Badi Palace this time - I loved the peace and quiet in there ✨

How to get to colorful Burano and Murano? 🎨
The best transportation system to use is the vaporetto⛴ (local transport) where you can get a day pass for €20 (single rides are €7.50)🏷
💡The itinerary I suggest and the one I did was to stop first at Burano which takes 1.15 mins from Venice and departs every hour on the minute 15’, then from Murano to Burano takes 15 mins and from Murano back to Venice another 50 mins ⏱
Make sure to go early because it gets really crowded from 10am, so you can definitely use a full day exploring these beautiful islands😍

#sponsored December’s been pretty hectic, so my husband and I hopped on @hoteltonight and booked a last minute weekend away in Accord, New York, at @stonehillsfarmhouse.
We’ve been spending the weekend looking at the snowy view outside, sitting fireside, drinking apple cider, and even meeting their little menagerie of animals (they have goats! 🤩) A spontaneous getaway or staycation is a great gift to yourself before the holidays kick off and @hoteltonight has so many great deals for a last minute getaway. #myhoteltonight

A few more days to go before we bid adieu to 2019 and welcome 2020.
So it is time to look back to all the trips that I have taken this year and share glimpses of beautiful corners of this world with you. I hope to inspire you to see and feel nature both far and near to where you live.
Today I am sharing a pic from the trip to the Grand Teton National park in America. The untouched, untamed wilderness and quiet of the mountain in Grand Teton have an unparalleled lure. .
We headed to Esperance, Western Australia, with @saltyluxe to explore this beautiful part of the world! All outfits are from the ROVE SUNCHASERS collection.

Although I am looking forward to returning to 80 degree weather in Hawaii, the time in #Germany has been heartwarming and lovely. I’m happy to say that my Oma’s surgery went well and she is recovering. The highlights of the trip certainly have been spending time with family, eating lots of German cookies, and drinking my favorite blanc de noir from the local winery. This will all be missed! 📸 @absolutelyloved_stefanie
Heading into the weekend like... You can’t go to Arizona without falling for all the cacti (though hopefully not into any, ouch!) 🤣🌵 Want to see 50,000 varieties of cacti and other desert plants? Then the best way is to go to the Desert Botanical Gardens celebrating 80 years In Tempe. This local Phoenix area landmark is nestled among the red rocks of the Papago Buttes and currently has a special exhibition, straight from Milan! (Bellisima! 😘). 🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵 #desertbotanicalgarden@tempetourism#ourtempe#tempetourism_partner 🌵
Happy Wednesday! Here’s a reminder with Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas coming soon: For some, the holiday season is not merry at all. This time of year can bring heartache and pain for a lot of people. So always be kind. You could be the sunshine that dries up someone’s rainy day💛🌦
I’m a sucker for short term gratification. And the reality of that is that I’m always left with a life never fully lived. I don’t explore new restaurants because when I’m hungry I want something nearby that I already know I like. I don’t go walking around all the little streets because it’s cold out and I’d rather go home. I don’t workout or eat healthy because I’m tired and chocolate tastes good. I pretty much always feel like Paul when he says “I don’t understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.” How can I expect to truly experience what the Lord has for me when I constantly choose to settle?? And at the end of the day I’m left with this huge weight on my chest that I’m not doing enough and I’ve wasted another day. But I don’t want that life. And so I’m going to work on little changes at a time, until I’m intentionally living each day and seeking the Lord in it. Starting now, by getting of instagram and picking up my book.

If you care to read, I wanted to share some of the reflections I’ve had since moving to France 3 weeks ago:
- God is faithful. He was faithful in the whole process to get here. He was faithful to provide for me when I got here. He was faithful to connect me to other strong believers. He has been faithful to answer pretty much all of the things I prayed about before coming, and many of the things I’ve prayed since being here. It’s something that gives me great peace and comfort, especially in the moments when I can’t help but wonder why and what I’m doing here. - God is the same God all over the world. He has been with me my whole life and is with me always. He is with me now. He was with me when I laid in bed and cried after my first day of classes in French. He was with me when I was in Kardia or at Breakaway in College Station. He is the only constant in my life. You can’t understand how sweet that is for me during this time. And here, I am experiencing Him and His love and His comfort and His grace in all new ways.
If you want to join me in prayer for this time, I would greatly appreciate it. I’m really praying that I can love the people I interact with well, with a love that reflects and points back to the Father. I’m praying the Lord will use me and that I will be confident and bold in the opportunities He presents. I’m praying for growth and to love Him more and more and to desperately depend on Him.
Someone that I met here told me that they could hear a melody that God is singing over me, and I want nothing else than to experience that fully!!
