Ooooh, this one gets me going!
I have a story for you. Years ago, I arrived at a wedding and was both DJing and MCing. As the MC, the timeline was crucially important to ensure all activities would be happening according to the planned order of events. There was only one problem: I didn’t receive a timeline of events 🤦🏻♂️.
I spoke to the Wedding Planner on site and explained my dilemma. About 15 mins later, she came to me with a napkin and a few scribbles from the groom with who was doing speeches. That was my timeline. I literally had to wing it 🦅 .
So saying all this, a couple things to consider leading up to your wedding:
1️⃣ Hire an incredible wedding planner! This is life changing for not only the couple and guests, but all associated wedding vendors. Life just becomes easier!
2️⃣ If there is not a wedding planner involved, understand who exactly is responsible for creating and executing the timeline. I always ask my clients “Who will be running the show?”.
With ALL of our packages, you have access to our timeline creation resource through your own privately-accessed website. This will allow you to see an overview of your entire day well in advance. This is called stress relief! 🤗 On top of this, you can hire us to take on the responsibility of running your reception timeline. This is usually done though our MC role, meaning you receive one our very experienced DJ personalities who bring your event to the next level.
We want to take stress off of our clients, not add stress to the wedding planning experience. Want to know how it all works? Get in touch now! You can DM us anytime or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Looking forward to hearing from you! 😀

How to eat mindfully at wedding event !!
Don’t get me wrong, I love to indulge. But as with everything there is balance and if we better understand how our food affects our mood and our health.
Weddings can make you unfaithful to your otherwise healthy lifestyle. The variety of food and entire event make people feel its there right to overeat.
But believe me saying No at wedding is most easiest thing one can do.The hosts are generally preoccupied and they will just ask if you have eaten. You can start appreciating and gush about everything.
Following are the points to keep in mind...if you really want to eat mindfully.
1.Event is to socialize and chill out not only to eat mindlessly. Food is not the point of focus. There are other part of experience like people/conversations/ambience, reduce your focus from food you auto eat less.( its in our head as we are invited for dinner or lunch)
2. Can you share? Think about sharing a course with a companion if portions look large.
3. Food at buffet increases greed to eat coupled with temptation but have you noticed that you actually cant eat much in buffet but you fill plate too much. You just want to finish the plate and try sweet. Key is make distinction between what you want n what you really need. Take a round first and have alook at menu then carefully select - think as if you will spend money to eat or rather keep in mind you will eat in next meal again. Food is not running away.
4. Eat small portion of any 2 favourite foods. Specially If you are on weightloss and temptation is high. But simultaniously reduce other meal portion.
5. Drink more water in full day wedding events if you skip drinking enough water the craving of high fat and high sugary foods can take a toll on you.
6. Dance more and burn it out. Move your body more is simple but that doesnt mean you can eat mindlessly. Keep your mood and spirit positive so that you can digest well all you eat. #weddingbells#eatmindfully#nutritionist#foodasmedicine#positivespirit#portioncontrol#foods#loveyourself#watchwhatyoueat#keephydrated#staymotivated#stressrelief#socialize
We love feedback like these
With just under four months until our wedding day, and only the venues secured, we were under no illusion that we needed help with planning our wedding. Ify handled almost everything, helping me and my husband to merge our very differing tastes into a day that reflected both of us perfectly. Many people asked us why we didn't look stressed, even as we got to two months, one month and a few weeks away from the wedding day. Our answer was simply "Because of Ify!" She handled everything with professionalism and efficiency ensuring that we got the best deal for our money in all aspects. The day was truly amazing and even exceeded our expectations, her team was excellent and friends and family are still commending the wedding day months later. Amongst family expectations, budgeting worries, relational politics and the like, you're not just paying for a high quality service, with Hannah Michael you're paying for peace of mind! - Jenny & Shaun
The second part of last weeks tip is understanding the value in open communication. Not only is it invaluable to have an open conversation with your potential event professionals about their service offerings before choosing your perfect event team, it’s also invaluable to continue that open dialogue throughout the planning process. You should feel as though you are creating your dream team of event professionals that are both your advocate and teammate. Keeping open, flowing, fluid conversation will make sure that your true vision, along with likes and dislikes are known. This is just one more way to ensure that all of your pros know exactly how you want your event to unfold, and can facilitate the day you and your beloved so truly deserve.
