Also- only 2 pairs of my 16547 pairs of pants fit me now 😅

We learn a set of values and follow a script given to us by the adults and society around us in our childhood. That script becomes our identity, our personality.
But it isn't necessarily who we are meant to be.

Very often, I need just a little push to get myself back into my #training regime. Seeing the posts of other like-minded #fitnessaddicts keep me #motivated . Thank you, girls😊
Work hard, follow your passions, make priorities a habit. It’ll all come together. The things you don’t succeed at at first, you will. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Don’t give up on your dreams! Take one day at time. Inhale, exhale. Believe in yourself. See a future. Keep going babies 🙌🏼 These are all things the beautiful people in my life have told me. They stick because it’s honest, hard work backing every single one of those statements.

You dont get better at #running up #hills by #walking up them.🙄 Hills was the #theme of my #workout tonight. Went to the #gym and ran 9% incline at my mile pace for #25seconds 6 times. Then ran at my 5k pace with a 3% incline for one minute 6 times. Then did a 4% incline for 25 seconds at my mile pace five times and finished with a 5% incline at my mile pace for 25 seconds.😭 my legs were on fire!! Then concluded my workout with #weights ......tomorrow my goal is to do #10miles with these #sorelegs . Wish me luck😜
I have some small grappling related goals for the new year and want to really up the pace for the next few months. And if all goes well and things come together the way they should, I want to be looking to fight again near the tail end of the first half of next year (April, Mayish is most likely)
Arm wrestling gone terribly wrong!! ⚠️ Fracture of the humerus following an arm wrestle is a relatively rare occurrence. The shoulder joint is actively internally rotated against the opponent while the elbow is fixed in flexion, resulting in enormous violent torque forces across the humeral shaft.
This type of arm wrestling injury is the result of the defending arm wrestler taking or being forced to take a posture in which his centre of gravity and therefore his body weight shifts. As the offensive wrestler continues with the attack, the defender's internal rotator shoulder muscles suddenly and passively stretch and change from their maximally concentric contraction to an eccentric compensatory contraction, resulting in an intense rotational force with subsequent humeral fracture.

I’ve lost 75.4lbs so far this year (that’s 75lbs of weights on the right) which equates to leaving behind about 28% of my body weight that I started with on Jan 1, 2019.
The pile of weights on the left add up to 197.5lbs. (This morning I weighed 196.6lbs).
The little weights on the top of the left pile is about what I still want to shed.
Just finished another workout right before I stacked these up. Tonight was 30 mins of cardio and then leg training.
Listen, I’m going to lay it down with brutal truth and exactly how it: It’s cold out here.
When you truly get into the thick of things in the weight game, it’s lonely and desolate. Dark. Secluded. Quiet. Deserted. Barren and Bleak. All your real friends have moved on. They’re tired of chicken and rice and constant weight room talk. Your triumphs mean nothing to them and they view you as no more than a stranger. Your significant other can only help you so far but how is she or he going to conquer your fears of getting obliterated after 20 weeks of rigid training? Mom and Dad ask when you’re going to give it all up so you can eat at the dinner table. Coaches treat you as a monthly payment because you’re not an A-Lister. Media outlets haven’t reported on you because they don’t think you’re anything worth the time.
Get used to being alone and learn to navigate the dark sewer system leading toward your goals. No one will be there for help because for the average joe, no one even knows we’re down here. Forget the recognition and acclaim because if you keep expecting it, you will be disappointed. Revel in working in the shittiest of circumstances, under the radar and off the grid. I promise when the chips are down and the music comes to an end, the ones with the sunshine in their eyes and the crowd standing around them will pay for it.
Darkness is your ally.
Why dragonball has always been my favorite show along with lifting weights in my own life. Its always about achieving the next level through hard work. why you think alot of athletes and people fuck with goku so hard. Because he is the embodiment of coming from a low class of saiyans 2 becoming the most powerful saiyan.all the meanwhile protecting his friends and family...always training. always seeking challenges to test his own fortitude i mean what more needs to be said here🤷♂️ #foreveranime#dbz#dbs#powerlevel#weights#gym#justsaiyan#goku#broly#vegeta#jiren#inspirational
People wanting to take me out to eat for my 19th birthday? Fine with me!!🍴😋 @sarajerde .
With the holidays coming up, just remember that you can burn extra calories but you can’t turn back the clock and make memories over again. 💕
So you think you can bench?
📍Leg drive is an important concept and can actually help with stability and weight lifted when benching.
📍Focus your efforts on the right image for top tips on how leg drive and body position is most optimal. People need to know HOW to use leg drive correctly.
📍It’s also important to maintain shoulder stability and maintain five points of contact with some arch while whole body tightness is implemented. Arching is a normal phenomenon when benching but excessive arch can add unnecessary stress to the SI joint.
📍Take-home message: Don’t be a victim to bad technique. Know the in’s and out’s of benching in order to correctly execute the lift for max results.

The progress we’ve been making gets me fired up. Going from virtually no movement in the ankle (completely frozen with extreme tightness given passive movement) to voluntary and controlled movements. Getting those nerves to stop telling the tibialis anterior to pull the foot into dorsi flexion is a challenge as we are currently combating the brain signaling nerves to fire muscles involuntarily. Next goal as of now is proprioception within the ankle joint (while continuing to work on voluntary ankle movement) then work on the extensive atrophy that occurred throughout the gastrocnemius due to the frozen ankle.
