@hotchocolatefest is now on until February 14. Have you made a list of participating cafes/restaurants that you want to visit?
Be sure to check out @honolulucafeyvr and their two creations:
🌸Aloha Macs: dark chocolate ganache with steamed macadamia milk, topped with crushed and roasted macadamia nuts. Paired with house-made lillikoi (passionfruit) macadamia nut butter cookies. ($9.50)
🌸’Brok Da Mout’: blend of dark chocolate, hibiscus ginger tea, ginger with honey, steamed coconut milk and a trace of cardamom. Paired with house-made coconut chocolate biscotti. ($8.50)
Both were smooth and delicious. Just right and not overly rich. The cookies and biscotti pairings were perfect. Both are dairy free! I particularly enjoyed the ginger flavours of the ‘Brok Da Mout.’ Definitely recommend trying either one! #media

Chicken salad does not have to be boring!!!! After the most amazing and relaxing time at @sojospaclub (much needed) we stoped by their dining hall and enjoy some great food. This refreshing southwestern chicken salad was full of flavor and it was only one of the many yummy treat we tried. .

Happy MLK Day! In the Spirit of gathering all the people, here’s a recap of a recent dinner: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just a few days into the new year, with hope and possibility in the air, 8 strangers met at moonlit lake-side table in downtown Orlando for a flavorful feast highlighted by a whimsical scrumptious seafood dish from the ever-creative duo of @butcherandbakerorlando.
Conversation ranged from reflective to fanciful and everything in between. From discussing how our families and upbringings — good and bad — shaped us in to who we are today, to our love languages, to podcasts and books that inspire us, to fantasizing about what our superpowers might be. (after the decadent cookie butter cheesecake from our guest chefs, which I’m pretty sure is illegal in some states — everyone agreed that calorie-blocking would be a helpful superpower.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Joining me for the banter and the banquet: an event planner (and part-time fire-throwing mermaid) 🤯 and her fiancé, a permaculturist business owner and entrepreneur from small-town North Carolina, a bridge engineer from Mumbai whose superpower would be to fly, obviously (over all the bridges he designs), an Orlando-native project manager whose work helps our veterans, a physician’s assistant from upstate NY who swaps out patients for perfect pasta recipes when she goes home, a social worker helping victims of human trafficking and bringing awareness about this often-invisible, but insidious issue in central Florida, and a serial entrepreneur/jet-setter on a mission for true contentment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course, attending dinners such as these, can be a beautiful vehicle for experiencing contentment; connecting with others while being present and engaged. When we show up, live in the now, and allow others to see our authentic selfs, we are liberated.
If you have it on your list to join us in 2020, we’ve got an amazing Dinner happening on Jan 27th! Just DM for details. #TDPP
Pareço plena... E estou mesmo. 😂
