The face you make when the cashier asks you if you found everything you needed! 🤔 And you think to yourself...Why? Are you hiding stuff back there? 🤷🏼♂️ #whatyougot#ilovesurprises .
I know my post are “motivating,” “inspirational” and whatever else you want to call it.
But don’t think I’m talking out my ass either. If I said it, it’s because I’ve been doing something long enough to feel comfortable to talk about it or it’s something I believe true in my heart. I’m sharing my thoughts because I feel they are worthy of sharing and maybe it can help 1 person along the way.
ALSO, don’t think I got it all figured out and I’m perfect. IM FAR FROM IT!
I fuck up. Almost everyday!
Im a liar. I’ll tell you “I’m okay” when I’m really not.
I procrastinate. I don’t always get shit done.
I don’t always eat healthy. Especially on weekends smh. 🤦🏻♂️ Im weak. I don’t always have the strength I need.
I don’t always make it to the gym.
Im not that smart. Never was.
Sometimes I care too much about the little things and not enough about the big things.
But I don’t accept the failures.
If you ever failed, you shouldn’t accept it either. We have to learn and grow from it, not rot becuase of it.
Everyday is a new start, however, you wake up with your experiences of that failure. So it’s not 100% new. Learn from them, and don’t accept them! You need to build GRIT! You build it by continuing on regardless of the failures.
And if you get what you wanted and you happen to lose it. (Shit happens)
Get back up, dust off, get back on track and go get it again, along with everything else you want from your life. You did it once, you can do it again, even better!
So don’t think I got it all figured out because I don’t. No one does.
We all GOT failures. It’s about what you make out of it, with what you GOT.
P.S. I don’t try to make it motivational; sometimes it just comes out that way.
