Just got back from a huge heart and...SEOUL trip! 🇰🇷 Normally I don't post myself in many pics because I'd rather be behind the camera, but I decided to break out of my "norm" because this one deserves more awareness and attention in the community. .
As a Korean American Adoptee searching for my birth family, I wanted to show my support in helping @official325kamra raise awareness and promote more DNA testing throughout Korea as well as all over the world. This non-profit organization is striving to reunite Korean Adoptees who have been separated by birth, war, death or tragedy. Little by little, together we can mend the pieces back together! .

Although Filipino food is a little bit of a downgrade after indulging in Indian, Nepali and Chinese cuisine, the smoothie bowls here are delicious! This one was a pineapple/mango smoothie with coconut, banana, goji berries, muesli and chia seeds. Definitely my favorite breakfast thus far 🥭🍍🍌🥥
Here are some photos that are not my face.
Out of all the photos taken on my last trip - these are my favourite.
The feeling of freedom I get from just looking back at these blows me away. These photos inspire me to travel e.v.e.r.y. chance I get.
This life is a beautiful thing and if I only get to do it once - I’m going to do it right.

It was Monday last week when we arrived in Apayao, straight from a 14-hr ride on a bus with cramped double deck bunks.
Our first stop was Lussok Cave in Luna. Our local guide pointed & joked about various rock formations as we cruised along the small boat through the underground river cave system. The water was amazingly clear.
We dismounted from the boat near the cave entrance and made the rest of the way on foot, squeezing through tiny chambers to get ahead.
I couldn't help compare the experience with the Puerto Princesa Underground River in Palawan, where audio recordings on a machine translated in different languages have replaced the guides. Package tours tell you exactly what to expect. The experience is the same for you & hundreds of other tourists that day. This just felt more real somehow. 📸 by @celineism

Calm amongst chaos 👥
“You can’t always control what goes on outside. But you can always control what goes on inside.” – Wayne Dyer
It’s pretty obvious that being calm is a positive thing, but many do not realize that learning to stay calm is an essential skill we should master. Everything we do is infused with the energy with which we do it. If we’re frantic, life will be frantic. If we’re peaceful, life will be peaceful.
Learning to keep our calm and composure, helps us maintain our cool during stressful times. This makes us stand out in all sorts of circumstances and gives us the ability to navigate personal situations in new and more effective ways.
Lauren enjoyed this Safari solo as Charlie was too young to be allowed. Saw a Leopard 🐆, lots of wildlife and had a great guide organized by the Wild Coast Tented Lodge. Check out our blog post for all the details on this amazing trip! #safari
