To be alive is a miraculous gift. If you are having a rough day or going through a hard time, try to go back to that. Start there and take a moment to feel thankful that you are here. This may not solve your problems or change your situation but adapting an outlook of gratitude allows for a perspective of possibility. Because perception is everything🙏🏻✨ .

„When I look inside and see that I am nothing, that is wisdom. When I look outside and see that I am everything, that is love. And between these two, my life flows.“ .
The strange thing is when we look inside for ourselves, the more we look, the less we find. So we keep looking .. and looking. Eventually, as we keep not finding the self, it will dawn us down.. It is to see beyond thoughts, sensations, memories, imagination and self-centered thinking because none of that is you. When we look deeper, we discover we are nothing and realize that nothingness is full, it is profound, and it is what we are. When we look outward, we see that everything is connected to everything else. Whether you choose to look inward or outward, you will find your true nature. Paradoxically, we are everything and we are nothing. This makes no sense if we stay in abstract ideas, but it makes absolutely perfect sense in direct experience, if we can get to direct experiences. Start with what you feel. When you investigate what you feel, the sensation is one of being right here, right now.
❤️ SUNDAZE ❤️
I love a lazy Sunday with zero plans and plenty chill time. I’ve been for a nice walk in the rain, had a lazy stretch, made a curry and a coconut cake with lots of lovely family time 😊
What’s your perfect Sunday?
Hi everyone - On March 27 at the City Winery Loft in New York City, I will be performing (along with John Platania and Tony Mercadante) a special show that will feature brand new songs from my upcoming album, 'Whiskey Salesman' - along with all your other favorites.
You can get tickets by following the link in my bio for what will be a great show in a wonderful venue. And this will be an opportunity to get the CD early.
I will be releasing some music and videos from the album really soon.
The queen of all wild things! .
The stomach flu has been going through our house and same with our friends and family too! Yuck. Luckily Chloe only threw up once and has been fine since. I will be resting today as well so we won’t be as active today either. Have you had the stomach flu this year?

Did you ever realize how much your body loves you? I mean it's always trying to keep you alive. It's making sure you breathe while you sleep, stopping cuts from bleeding, fixing broken bones, finding ways to beat the illnesses that might get you. Your body literally loves you so much. It's time you start loving it back.

#wildthing to #wheelpose has been my nemesis transition for long 😬 I have practised it only a few times outdoors in summertime on soft grass because I’ve always found this very challenging and scary! Yesterday we tried this out with Maxine in Deep and Strong Yoga class ☺️ The idea was to try to do it as slowly as possible. Now I almost fell in love with this transition 😜 How slowly can I go? I try to make it as pretty as possible but for now #practisenotperfection 😉 #yogamom#learningstuff
I am forever grateful to my mom for taking me to my first yoga class about 13 years ago. 🧘♀️ I remember liking the physical challenge but knowing that I kept returning for another reason.💪 Upon being asked from my teacher why I kept returning, my answer was "to balance my emotions." 🤲
I didn't know what that meant back then, but now I understand the deep presence that's involved with practicing. 🧘♀️ It forces you to clear your mind, focus on breathing and asana, and to look within and connect with the universe. 🥰
Yoga is a part of my daily life and I couldn't be more grateful for it. 🤩
Just so you all know I practice what I preach (well I try to) I thought I’d share my own results of having a clear out over the weekend. I have a constant battle with my wardrobe, I am rarely happy with what I have got and have so few clothes anyway, if I get behind in the laundry you're very likely to catch me in my boyfriends or even the kids clothes! Even so I thought it high time to have a sort. I read a few of the clearing clutter books over the past few years and picked up hints and tips but the underlying message that resonated with me was to see how the clothes make you feel and make a decision whether to keep or pass on based on that. I wrote a guide below if you are interested in going for it yourself. It is amazing how much lighter and more organised it makes you feel. I managed to get 2 bin bags full ready to give the kids’ school jumble sale this weekend! Didn't even realise I owned so many clothes! I actually feel that I have more clothes to choose from now as everything is nicely on display and is only things I love.
