(1/4) It’s thrilling to see first-hand the devotion, creativity & passion that has been put into Changi Airport's Jewel & the rest of the airport. Changi Airport truly is another kind of Alice's rabbit hole--so many hidden gems, so many stories!it really deserves its title as the world's best airport.
When I saw Jewel for the first time, so many things caught my eyes & I was completely stunned. My mind was jumping back & forth from being captivated by this grand beauty before me to being panicked cos I knew I had to turn this into art ( no lies, i felt a bit nauseous back then) 😂 I knew painting this one wouldn't be easy. There's just no way I could do it justice!
should I start with the fact that you could see a rainbow circling the majestic rain vortex at 9 am every morning? or that the forest valley houses around 3,000 trees from all over the world? or maybe another fact about the dome which has more than 9,000 pieces of handmade glass & they were all carefully calculated & built to make sure the reflection won't affect planes & those driving on the road? or should I start with my own embarrassing moment about how I almost cried on the skynet, holding on for dear life when I was forced to conquer my fear of height? I felt like I was about to die having to walk 25m above the ground. I wouldn't have made it to the other side without the help of skynet's crew who had spotted me from afar & offered help. Seeing all these attractions on Jewel's canopy park really reminds me of how much of a scaredy cat I am 😂I didn't even have the courage to slide on this giant yellow futuristic discovery slide!
I could never paint Jewel as it is, but I hope you could see a glimpse of it's beauty through my eyes & my painting. I might not have the words to describe it, so I'll let your imagination run wild instead with this creation of mine. Enjoy ❤
Taking a little break from my story and sharing this amazing Watercolor Sketchbook that @mosseryco sent me! They let me customize the cover with some cute little stars along with my personalized username! So far I’m pretty happy with the overall quality of the Sketchbook, the paper is great at holding water and doesn’t dry out too quickly (which I love)
If you want to grab one for yourself you can use my discount code for 15% off. It’s “ARTBYSINCH15” and you can apply it to any of their Sketchbooks or you can follow the link in my bio to automatically apply the discount code at checkout! Enjoy your weekend!
I wanted to make a sophisticated guy for winsor and he has a dog called Newton and he has this crimson peaks vives 🙈🙈🙈that i love so much in him , Arteza is a young and beautiful girl that admired him so badly , may be he is her crush 😆
It’s amazing at the difference it makes when you put more washes on the surface. It still doesn’t look like it is anything special but know that each layer brings it closer to completion. It’s just like our journey through life, we can’t look at where we are right now, rather we have to see ourselves as the finished work. We have to keep in mind that Father has a vision for us and keep working toward that completed work. #keepyoureyeontheprize
Cavapoo no 2... 🐕🐾🐶 this is just my initial sketch work on the design but what do you think so far?
I'm really loving working on these cartoon pet portraits DM me of you would like to capture your furry friend in cartoon form
Be it a dog, cat or perhaps something more scaly like a snake, I'm happy to look at all request 👍
The finished piece will be in completed with professional marker pens on specialist paper so it really pops with colour!
Like getting above the clouds on a foggy day I’m feel overwhelmed with love and gratitude! Yesterday I hit my best sales in one day at the Lakeville Art Festival and it’s all thanks to amazing customers support! Thanks for being the sunshine above the clouds this weekend as I’m dealing with some pretty bad tooth/jaw pain due to wisdom teeth. If any of you are praying people I’d love some prayer for my appointment tomorrow 🙏🏻

The far background is now complete on my William Dunlop oil painting and the second stage painting is now in on the middle distance and foreground - lots of out of focus leaves and grass to do now and the exhaust heat haze. 🖌🎨🇮🇲🏁 #1 and #6 of the edition have gone (along with a lot of others) William's widow Janine will receive a royalty from each print that is sold.
Let me know if you would like a print reserving.
I enjoyed drawing this one a lot! Thank you so much for your likes! I’ll try to post as fast as I can! 💙🌙

More #watercolor portrait practice. This time with great help from @sadiesavestheday skillshare class: perfect portraits! I love her technique of layering colors. Painting in purple undertone first is so clever too and makes sense for me, as I love shading in purple. I tried with and without the undertone just to try, which you can see.
