Mumford & Sons teamed up with Adele’s producer, returned to acoustic instruments and incorporated everything from electronica to hip-hop for their fourth album, 'Delta.' “This time, we were even more free because we felt we could go back to acoustic instruments,” says guitarist and banjo player Winston Marshall. “There weren’t many boundaries musically.” Click the link in our bio to read the entire feature. One more day! The stunning @mumfordandsons Virginia Charity Banjo auction is going strong. This benefits @womengivingback .... In 2007 a core group of professional women from the homebuilding industry formed Women Giving Back (WGB) after recognizing that access to free quality clothing was a barrier many homeless women and their children experienced while living in the local shelters.
WGB has grown considerably in Virginia. WGB’s mission is more than clothes – their committed volunteers provide personal service and uplifting interaction in a unique boutique-like atmosphere, focused on helping women arrive at a level of self-confidence that enables them to improve their lives and achieve independence. The increased self-esteem that comes from securing and maintaining employment not only helps individual women, but contributes to stable families, which, in turn, improves to the viability and safety of our communities.
Incredible and inspiring what WGB accomplishes! 🌟link in profile to see more and bid!
appreciation post for Winder Winds (and all the songs from Sigh No More). this album means the world to me and as much as I love their new tracks and albums, this era will always have a special place in my heart. 💓
When J.D. Crowe cracks a joke right before the picture is taken ❤ I am over the moon to share the @mumfordandsons Kentucky Charity Banjo auction is live and benefiting the @intlbluegrass Bluegrass Trust Fund that has been there to help since 1987 when life hands grave setbacks to members of the professional bluegrass musician community; from medical needs to unexpected crisis life can hand to an individual. As a representative of this charity J.D. came out to the band's show in Lexington, Kentucky and shared about what the Bluegrass Trust fund does with the lads and his appreciation that this auction will go to benefiting it! ☆LINK in the @deeringbanjos Profile to see more and bid! #banjo#family#JDcrowe#mumfordandsons#IBMA#kentucky#winstonmarshall
