This was my very first resin piece! For months, I wanted to learn how to use resin, and I was lucky enough to find @lambsstudio who was teaching classes! I was so worried that I would be awkward, and I was, but she took it in stride! And now I’ve become absolutely obsessed with resin art. I couldn’t have done it without her and I’m so thankful!

Wrecking Ball Rhetoric -The Unrequited Voter
Words. Chants. The feeling of a mob. I am filled with a sense that what is a defining, unalienable American right to be oneself in a civil, diverse society is slipping into the darkness of intolerance and hate.
The president says they do not love America. They do.
He says they should go back when they are home.
This xenophobic, racist, sexist rhetoric is a wrecking ball to who we are. How can we fear “the stranger” when the stranger is us?

I was going to post this on Monday for lovely @greterappeanai (Mondays need rainbows AND butterflies!🌈🦋🤣) but I didn't want to wait! Also, my eyes need a bit of a palette cleanser between all the detailed drawings I've been doing for mystic sun week. Hope everyone's having a lovely Saturday!💗
