Ohne die Zeit existiert das Leben nicht. Und wir haben nur eins davon. 
Nutze also jeden Moment den du hast. Vergeude deine Zeit nicht mit unausgesprochenen Worten oder mit Reue. 
Zeit ist ein Geschenk, das nicht vielen vergönnt wird. Also verbringe sie mit den Menschen, die du liebst und bei denen du das Gleiche zurück bekommst.
 Dein Leben muss nicht perfekt sein. Für Perfektion fehlt uns die Zeit. Unsere Zeit sollten wir nutzen um glücklich zu sein. Wir haben Zeit um Risiken einzugehen, über unseren Schatten zu springen und Dinge einfach zu wagen. Völlig egal was morgen geschieht- wenn es sich für dich jetzt richtig anfühlt, dann tue es. 
Es sind deine Augenblicke die dein gesamtes Leben prägen können.

  • The post long run feels are in full effect today. Everything is falling into place & I’m feeling stronger with each run. Marathon training is my absolute favorite & I’m enjoying every bit of this training cycle.
As a distance runner people always ask “don’t you get bored on those long runs?” Well, I ran 19 miles all by myself this morning & wasn’t bored for one second. My body craves the mileage & the alone time that comes along with it. Nothing better!

  • Flashback Friday! And with only FIFTY days until I race my next marathon, I thought I would post a progress pic. This is 5 years worth of work right here. No shortcuts, just good old fashioned work! There were other marathons mixed in here that weren’t PR’s though...because realistically not every race will produce a PR. Each race I do, personal best or hitting the wall, I’ve learned something extremely valuable. I take what I learn and adjust for my next training cycle. That’s how the progress happens. Staying consistent, consecutive healthy training cycles, learning & adapting. 
I’ve come a long way in these past 5 years & I’m super excited to see what my next marathon brings.

  • Constantly seek ways to do things better in all areas of your life. Commitment comes from the inside out and is tested often. 
Measure yourself against the best. Most others will choose to be average. You won't know your limits if you don't keep trying. Reject the idea of good enough.

Commit to excellence. Take each of your goals and think of how you can improve one percent each day, week or month. 
Success is a journey. It is not a quick fix.
The joy is in the doing. Think of success not as a peak to be climbed but a high a high plateau to be walked.

Set the bar high for yourself and commit to a constant and never-ending improvement.
