I graduate tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited! To celebrate, I spent the morning doing my favorite thing- hanging with this beautiful mare 💕
I have a graduation party tomorrow and then Saturday I’m off to Orlando to hang with @littleponybigjump@theottbdigest and @saddlesnsass !
College has been a wonderful 4 years that I wouldn’t trade for the world, but I’m definitely ready to start developing my career as a young professional!
What is your dream job?
What would you do if today were your last day on Earth?
I have been listening to the book “The Greatest Salesman in the World” and side note, don’t let the title fool you, this book is for everyone. Its all about life and how you interact with others.
In this book he talks about how to live your life as if it’s your last and it has completely changed my day today.
If today were my last day, I’d make sure I kissed my husband and my kids and told them I love them a million times. I’d do the things my kids want to do that I don’t always want to do, and I wouldn’t stress over perfection. I’d keep taking risks and laugh as much as I possibly could.
Tell me what you would do!

If you’re on the focus struggle bus ( #realtalk I’m probs the driver of this bus 😫😂) then these three will help you so much. As person who is busting her butt to get to full-time self-employment, I’ve realized that I struggle with focusing on the tasks at hand and completing them in a timely manner. This has resulted in lost sleep, neck tension, and stress that could have definitely been avoided. I’ve been using these oils in my office. Diffusing and applying them topically has helped so much! Vetiver is one that has been scientifically studied for focus. Google it!!! 🎉 So thankful these plant juices help my brain. Now, time to go get some shiz done!!!
Calling all travel mama’s!
Everyone thinks that work travel is glamorous and you ‘get’ to go to cool places and do cool things, right?
Well, I travelled full time for 20 years and I am here to tell you it’s hard! It’s not glamorous and it’s not always fun.
The one thing that would have made it so much better for me? A consistent workout program that would get me up every day with a purpose!
This week I traveled for work. I haven’t had to in a while and I know how consistent I like to be. .
You know what? I totally rocked this week and hit my workouts in in my room using my iPad and an app! How awesome is that? .
What I love the most- no misstep in my game - just picked up the next days plan and got it done!
👉Do you travel for work and find it difficult to stay consistent?
👉 Do you struggle with food choices on the road?
Let me help you be a better Traveller and help you to stay consistent wherever you are!!
Travel mamas I want to hear your thoughts!
When your besties send you the most beautiful flowers for passing an exam (that you’ve been working at since pregnant with your first) and your pregnant (for the second time) with raging hormones, you ugly cry in the middle of your office and feel so lucky to have such thoughtful, amazingly kind, wonderful women in your life! 🥰🌷💜 Thank-you, I love you Ladies! @msperrywright@kirssyrae#bestfriends#lucky#workhardplayhard

You know those rare moments where you're just so perfectly happy to be exactly where you're at? You take a deep breath and just soak in the surrounding and is reminded of how lucky you are. That feeling of absolute contentment, freedom and awareness. This moment, sunset, location was exactly that.
Cabo da Roca: The westernmost extent of mainland Portugal, continental Europe and the Eurasian land mass.
Been there. Will be back ✔
When I'm working on a project or ten, I take this opportunity to learn something new or listen in on a good fiction.
Recommended: Essentialism, The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Gregg McKeown.
I held a professional career in the typical 8 to 5 gig. I completed day-to-day tasks, just droning away. Although my work made a difference on the ground, it felt like that difference was so minuscule. I felt overwhelmed, stressed, and utterly unhappy. Since then, I have left that position, by a silver lining when my husband was laid off and found a new job in another state.
I wanted a fresh start where I could recover from the negatives in my life. To do something that made me happy without regrets. To live the life that I wanted for me, my husband and I, and our future family. I started researching on minimalism, then zero waste and low impact, then the Marie Kondo Netflix series aired. It felt like so many things were coming into place in my mind.
The book Essentialism, reminded me of all those things I had learned about. He references on how to clean out your closet to identify what's essentials, how making priorities in your life will make you happier by not pleasing everyone all the time, by working within your boundaries and setting those for others. If you've have or still continue the feel what I did at my previous job or if you're looking for a great read or something on audible (I checked my audiobook from my local library), then try this next!
