“Most important lesson I’ve learned in 3 weeks back to work: you won’t be good at everything every day. Some days I’m really good at being a mom, other days I’m really good at work. Some days I’m really good running my household, and some days I’m really good with self-care. But everything everyday? Nah.” — Karen // @karen

There was once a time when my soul felt so broken and my heart was numb. As corny as it sounds, LOVE is what ultimately saved me. My family and their unconditional love for me is what pushes me to want to do and be better. Not only do they deserve the best of me, but I finally realize that I deserve it too. I don’t think my job as a mother is to save my kids, but to be an example and show them how to save themselves. 💕
In our home, feelings are always acknowledged, processed and shared. My kids have no problem telling us when they’re frustrated, mad, sad or full of joy. Our goal is to create happy and resilient human beings with pure hearts. Out of all the accomplishments I’ll have in my lifetime (and I have a huge list of goals I still want to and will achieve), being a wife and mother will always be my greatest ones. #wangtas#wangsworld#blessedwiththebest
Was machen eure #Kids denn so in der Freizeit? Mir schweben gerade Fußball und Turnen vor, aber vielleicht finde ich ja hier noch etwas Inspiration ☺️

𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 & 𝒗𝒖𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆.
I thought I could outwork my bad nutrition.
I thought I could just show up, workout harder after a night of wine sipping and snacking....burn off the calories right??
I thought I could simply fake it till I made it.
I was too busy to meal prep.
I was working mom I don’t have time to meal prep. Or eat totally clean.
𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅.
ALL of my pants were tight.
ALL of my workout pants were tight.
My mom pouch?! It hung over the top of my pants. I HATED how that looked and felt.
I felt like a fraud. True story. .
I started the 💯 days recommitted to my health.
I started the last 💯 days committed to myself.
I started the last 💯days scared 𝒊 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏.i was a “health coach” right? 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒐 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑰𝑵.
So I did the program. I followed the nutrition. And I started to feel better.
I showed up and shared my journey every day for 💯days.
Was it easy for me?! No.
I struggled. I did sip some wine 🍷 cuz that IS allowed in our nutrition plan #thankyoujesus
As I showed up & completed each workout, I noticed muscle definition. I noticed I did not feel the need to run after my workouts. I noticed my pants started to not feel snug.
Y’all I am here to say that after 💯 days?! After 💯 days of committing to a new way of life?! The way of life that saved me 4 years ago?
Man alive I did not loose a single pound but I lost inches off my belly and 2 inches of my back legs and I 𝑭𝑬𝑬𝑳 𝑾𝑶𝑾𝑻𝑨𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑪!!!!!!
Y’all. I totally get that it is easier to NOT eat clean, healthy all the time and use our busy life as an excuse. Believe me I get that.
But now I fully understand that’s just an excuse. I have the time to take care of myself and my family. I just wasn’t being intentional. Eating like crap or eating healthy takes effort. The results you get will either make you feel like a rockstar or feel like crap 💩. Each one is a choice.
I share ALL of this to say I get it. Also to say you can Change it. 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒕𝒊 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕?! 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝒊 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖?

I know you are busy but find time to connect with your kids everyday, especially if they are still younger than 10 years.
They don't stay young forever you know? And whatever foundation you lay now will be the basis for your relationship as they grow older.
Tell them 'i love you', 'am proud of you', 'i enjoy being your mom' e.t.c. as many times as possible in a day.
P.S: The more you connect, the lesser the tantrums...👍 We are here to help, so you can find time for your loved ones, maximize us.

Being a wife and a mom is tough. It’s easy to lose sight of your personal and professional goals outside of your family goals. Family is everything, but it’s important to fulfill your passion and find your purpose in life. 100% the most important job is raising tiny humans to become amazing adults who help make this world a better place, but it’s also important to feel as though you’re making this world a better place right now - not 20 years from now when your child is a doctor and saving lives or doing some other incredible job. .
It’s almost like I woke up one day and decided to be me again. Set goals and achieve them. There’s no better feeling than setting a goal and achieving it. No matter how big or small, or how ridiculous other people think it is. It doesn’t matter what other people think. Do You and follow God’s plan. Stop trying to force things that aren’t meant to be, or hold back because of fear, or even worse, continue to do something that you hate or isn’t fulfilling or isn’t using your God given potential. .
Open your soul to the Universe and the Universe will help guide you. The Universe is working for you, not against you. The Universe wants you to succeed. If you just follow the signs, you’ll end up@right where you’re meant to be. .
Remember who you are, what you stand for, and what’s important to you, and then wake up every damn day with a passion and a purpose. With fire in your belly you can achieve anything. .
I’ve got that fire in my belly again and I’m ready to crush this real estate thing. I can’t wait to help my friends, family, referrals, friends of friends, and people I haven’t met yet, with their real estate needs. .

In the words of Ice Cube, “Today was a good day.” It wasn’t extraordinary. Nothing magical happened, but it was a GOOD day. And we ought to acknowledge all the GOOD days. ⠀
Thanks to my ROCKSTAR husband for pulling a little extra weight, so I could do a little extra today on the full-time job front. Today I had the opportunity to appear on @ciliving with my friend Sarah, owner of @pandellahboutique to talk about an awesome event we are hosting @cibmbank this weekend! Their will be shopping, a FREE braid bar, brow bar, mini make up applications, and chair massages by @styleandgrace_salon . Our goal is to spoil you while you switch accounts to CIBM Bank! ⠀
So of course this great maxi dress and these boots are from Pandellah. I threw on a blazer for work wear and was set for on air. Check out the look in our segment. ⠀
Don’t hide in your shell 🐚 but let your light shine bright for everyone to see. I realise this is easier said than done but having done a lot of work on myself over the last four years, I know that it is possible. 💕
I wouldn’t be feeling this inner confidence and belief in myself if I hadn’t pushed myself to try new things and test the boundaries of my comfort zone. I wouldn’t be loving who I am and living my life with passion and purpose or come as far as I have in terms of my own self development and getting comfortable showing the real authentic me, if I hadn’t dropped my defences and my ego. Being vulnerable is scary but so worth it. 💖
Working on ourselves is hard and takes time and patience. Little baby steps everyday to a NEW YOU. I didn’t do anything special per se, life just threw me some curve balls and I chose to swim 🏊♀️ rather than sink. It wasn’t easy but I’m still here and STRONGER 💪 and WISER for it. 💗
For all of us, we can either RIDE the WAVES 🌊 or SINK with the SAND. Only WE can make that decision. 💜
Especially as a first time mom, the identity shift from being “just” a woman to being a mom is a lot! This identity shift impacts everything we do especially when it comes to the questions of working or staying at home.
For the three of us, although all going back to work, this looked very differently, Claire being on extended mat leave and already back at work, Sarah starting with one day a week remotely during her mat leave and myself having completed a project just before giving birth and starting a new job without the “security blanket” of any mat leave.
Whatever you decide, the most important part is to talk about it with your partner and place of business- ideally before you give birth! Understanding your options, financially and otherwise as well as approximate timelines will allow you to enjoy your time at home with the little one while not having to worry about when you will have to go back to work.
And if you decide to go back to work, discuss childcare options early on- nursery? Live-in nanny? Live-out nanny? Family members? Childcare can be quite expensive in Dubai and planning for childcare takes time!
Asked my husband to take a photo of me..he takes the photo with super zoom on the iPhone and you gotta love the red eye I attempted to fix. #instagramhusbandfail 🤦🏻♀️💛 Also I look very protective over this wine probably because I have two toddlers sitting next to me throwing napkins at my head 🍷

Today was my son’s 6th birthday. From the time he was just a few weeks old I would read to him every night (Nancy Tillman being a fave. All the feels). Soaking in all the words, they could never fully express what being his mom means to me. #momsgetit

It all started with applesauce. The girls have asked for at least a month if we could make homemade applesauce like we used to do... like we used to do when I was just a mom, when they got all of my attention and we did more fun things. Mom guilt is savage and so quickly it all comes flooding in, but I told myself applesauce and a million other things are the trade off of chasing my own goals and dreams while raising a fourth baby. Juggling more things means I had to let go of others, like homemade applesauce and endless art projects.
Sunday, while I was doing school, the girls started peeling apples and making applesauce with Brett’s help. I took a break and pitched in. Before long we were all working together and made jars and jars of applesauce. It started out like one more chore on my to-do list, but at some point I started to see glimpses of how it used to be. That night as I laid in bed scrolling through photos on my phone looking for a picture of puppies I saw the exploding volcano we made, rainbow waffles, lots of homemade food and so many fun memories. I realized how much I missed all of it, and that even with my school and their school and all the other responsibilities, I had to make space for the fun. That’s part of the legacy I want to leave as a mom, so today we made pumpkin pancakes and decorated jars of applesauce to deliver to neighbors. Tomorrow will be art projects, and I’ve vowed to recreate the exploding volcano with Wyatt this year. I’m thankful I was reminded of what’s important. I feel in some ways I survived all the hard things before Tuck’s birth and his pregnancy and first year. I survived my coaching program, and now I’m ready to pick up the pieces and find that mom again. It was more than ok to just survive those years, but I’m ready to thrive again. It may look like applesauce, but it was so much more.

Life is hard. Really fucking hard. Sometimes, it feels like all my buttons are being pushed and the world is moving in fast motion around me and I can’t catch up.
I’ve been receiving a lot of messages about starting a workout program, or a new skincare, even sharing a meal plan. I have to be honest, none of that has been my priority.
My priorities since having Brynnleigh have been trying to figure out our new life schedule, going to work to give the best service I can, making sure Brynn is gaining weight and healthy and on track, etc.
I thought I would want to work out right away and try and lose weight and get into great shape— but now it’s not. And if you’re that mom working out everyday with your babe—I envy you, even though I shouldn’t.
When I come home after being gone for 10 hours, I just want to play and cuddle with my squish until she goes to bed. And in the few, small moments alone, I sit on my phone on the bathroom floor and look at pictures of her with tears in my eyes knowing that all this time is going by so fast, how do I be there for every moment?
I love my life and sometimes I have to remember that’s what it is — MY LIFE. I’m happy with my 140lbs and squishy tummy. It’s true when people say ”your child doesn’t care what you look like” because every time those little hazel eyes look at me, I feel all the love in the entire universe. 💕 mom rant over, thanks for reading 🖤 #postpartum .

Sometimes, the proof is in the pictures.
If you still don't think home workouts for a busy mom work, look at these results, and I'm only half way through my program.
If you don't think you have the time, I'm a mom of three boys ages 3, 4 and 5 months old and I can still get results like this.
If you don't think you can afford it...it's less that a gym membership all day long and I don't have to worry about going out in the cold to drive for my workout, the judgement and strange looks as I get my post-baby body back and I don't need to worry about child care while I get it done. .
Results, not hassle.
I am starting a CLEAN WEEK challenge October 28th for anyone that wants to change their habits and learn about healthier choices! Tips, tricks, recipes, simple exercises all to get you started! 1 WEEK that's all it takes! Let me know if you want in on this group!!
Picture 1 -3 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and finishing my 2nd big challenge.
Picture 2 -The day before giving birth to baby #3 ...yep I was that big...gained 60lbs)
Picture 3 -Today, 5 months post-partum...rocking my goals
Hip strengthening workout with band. Try these out without the band first. Use a mirror to watch your alignment. Consult your doctor/physical therapist first. 😊
1. Squats - keep feet pointed out slightly and make sure your knees are aligned with your feet.
2. Squats on BOSU ball
3. Hamstring strengthening/hip extensors - make sure feet are pointed forward.
4. Hip abductors strengthening - keep body straight vs leaning forward, stay strong on stance leg vs leaning to the side. Keep this controlled vs momentum and keep feet pointed forward. ITBand stretch in the end.
5. Lunges - keep knees and feet aligned. Quad stretch in the end.
6. Glutes - keep resistance on band by pushing thighs outwards. Hamstrings and glutes stretch in the end - lead and lean forward with your chest.
7. More glutes work - 100 steps with resistance band

Brought home Jaiden a fun project that took us the evening to complete. The smile is so worth it. Spending time with my littles when I have a free evening from work this busy time of year! #workingmom#worksleeprepeat
𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐩!!!
Want to try some fun moves from my lower body workout this morning???
Try each of these combination moves for 4 cycles each then repeat!
So many things I love about these 3 moves specifically:
⭐️ they are functional
⭐️ they bring in the entire body
⭐️ there is a strong focus on core control and strengthening
⭐️ the utilization of diagonal patterns to promote trunk control and strength!
Can’t wait to hear what you think! 😉💪 #fittips#sampleexercises#functionaltraining#corestability#legday#womenswellness#workingmom
Once upon a time, I had a gym membership. I think I can count on my two hands the number of times I actually utilized it. I hated going because I felt so lost... I didn't really know what to do other than run on the treadmill. And those things aren't ideal for tall people nor do I find them very enjoyable.
I still don't really like going to the gym... I kind of like having my own equipment to myself and not having to put in the extra effort of leaving my house at 4 AM. But if I need to, like while I was hotel living all last week, I now have the confidence to rock my presence in the gym. I don't let my insecurities about what others may think hold me back from doing something that makes me feel on top of my game. (And it's not because I'm some body building beast now. Trust me, I struggled putting up the 10 lb weights that just happened to be the lightest on hand 😅)
But it's so much more than the confidence to step foot in the gym and own a fitness routine. Ever since I've started this coaching journey and consistently consuming personal development material, I have the confidence to say yes to opportunities that spark my interest... like a Leadership series put on by the Chamber of Commerce. I'm much more willing to engage, and network, and participate. Like during the class I was at least week for work. When I compare it to a similar conference I went to last year, I got so much more out of it because I had the confidence to step out of my shell more.
So you see, this opportunity isn't my life. I still have a family, friends, a full-time job, and other hobbies and interests. But this opportunity gives me life. It pushes me to take action instead of just letting life happen to me. It pushes me to be the best mom, significant other, daughter, friend, and co-worker that I can be. And those are all things I can't put a price on. 💜
(Still working on the selfie game... I'm ok with not being very confident on that front... Seriously, where are you supposed to look?!? 😂)

The drink of all mother's. No joke, the past few days have been a blur. Between job interviews, sleepless nights, and basic mom & wife duties, I'm exhausted! And it's only Tuesday. Eric has been picking up O.T because they are short people, so I have been doing life on my own. It's hard, but I'm grateful for this life & coffee.
When I was in my second trimester, my husband asked me if I was ready to be a mom. I laughed, shook my head, and maybe, amidst an eye-roll, leaked a tear. "No. I'm ready to be a dad. That mom sh*t looks way too hard." 😬
He assured me that we'd both have an equal hand in parenting our daughter. He assured me that we can be whoever we want to be. I didn't believe him. I was CERTAIN that once I became a mom, I would cease to be anything else. 🥴
You know what? We were both right. That mom sh*t IS all about the hard stuff. But, when mommas CHOOSE to do the hard stuff, we can become MORE of who we were created to be -- better workers, better friends, better sisters, better wives, better 🔥
I want my baby to grow up believing that mommies can do anything that daddies can do! In a society that gives women equal rights but fails miserably to give us equal opportunity, finding the momentum to thrive in motherhood is an uphill battle, but one that is SO WORTH FIGHTING. 💪
Here's to realizing that motherhood can be EMPOWERING when you choose to do the hard sh*t! If you wear your title like it comes with a cape -- OR IF YOU WANT TO -- this is the page for you. I invite you to join me as I share about how I find the MOMentum to Thrive. 🦸
