  • The #UpperBelvedere in #Vienna is not only worth a visit for the famous paintings, such as "The Kiss" by Klimt, but also for its gorgeous #architecture. Even after tree days, it's still impossible to just walk passed rooms like these. Our time in Vienna is now over, but I've fallen in love with all the pomp and circumstance of this city. It certainly was according to my expectations. I'm sad to go back home but I'm so pleased with what I've seen and experienced the past couple of days. Even though it was awfully cold at times, I warmly recommend this city as a #citytrip destination.

  • This morning, the new 777X - world’s largest twin-engine aircraft, took off for the very first time, marking a huge milestone and the long-awaited launch of its flight test program. The massive GE9X engines of this plane (also the world’s largest) can swallow the fuselage of the single-aisle 737!! Congratulations to all involved people of Boeing 👏👏 - I snapped this photo last year during the plane’s first taxi text 🚖

  • Been feeling the desire for new adventures lately. The feelings you get when you are in a new place is just so inspiring. And more importantly everything you get to see and observe along the journey refreshes your mind and soul. Who can relate to me? ✌🏻

  • Bagratid King Smbat II laid the foundations for the Surp Asdvadzadzin Cathedral in 990 A.D. and after his death, its construction was completed in 1001 A.D. by Queen Katranide, the wife of King Gagik I, Smbat’s brother and successor. The architect of the cathedral was Trdat, who also worked on the restoration of the Hagia Sophia after it had collapsed in an earthquake in the same century.
The Cathedral of Ani was converted into a mosque after the conquest of the city by the Seljuk Sultan Alparslan in 1604. The monument carries a separate meaning because it was the first conquest in Anatolia and hence was named after it as Fethiye Mosque.
