People often ask me where I find inspiration to write. There’s nothing in particular... a smell can remind me of a memory, a color can inspire a line... but one thing that always inspires me is light. I feel like a flower, that blooms in the sun. It gives me so much energy, and just reminds me of the light we all have inside of us, the ability to make others feel inspired too, like the sun. Sunset is my favorite time, the light is sometimes most beautiful when it’s had time to mature. Love you guys, keep shining ✨ xoxo bridgett

"Where do I go?"
"It doesn't matter. The people you are looking for are everywhere."
"How do I know I reached my destination?"
"There is no final destination to the journey you are about to embark on. But there will be signs. They will show you that you carry the right kind of heart and mind along with you." Soundtrack: Alin Gül - Şad Olup Gülmedin

my first story...
...started in one of those notebooks. It was very similar to what I am writing now, despite the fact that it was a completely different genre. Growing up I only ever read crime fiction, and after uni where I studied Investigative Forensic Psychology, it seemed kinda natural to stick with that. It was a police procedural about ritualistic, pagan inspired murders in the Cornwall countryside. Three women would disappear one after the other (always a maiden, a mother and a crone) and a month later they'd be found dead in the middle of a stone circle. Still love the premise of the story, but I just couldn't make it work. You know that bit at the end, where the super villain explains his grand master plan.....I didn't know that bit. I tried for 6 years on and off to write that story, until my sister in law said to me that it's a shame it's crime fiction. If it was fantasy, I could smudge the lines a bit and have the baddy levitate (thus not leaving any marks on the ground). Now, I still don't have anybody levitating, but that chance remark kicked my story into the direction that it is now. It still has that pagan background, but it is much more YA psychological thriller-y and, hopefully a hell of a lot more spooky.

I often say that mindset is sometimes everything and it’s true. Imagine that you would have now company worth of million of dolars, but you don’t have the ability to control that and the company will fall in some time. But if you will have the right mindset, then you are able to not just control that company, but to even build it.
And it hits...like a blunt, rusted dagger twisting in your chest. The thoughts crush over you like a landslide. Heavy. Bulky. Painful. Each rock bringing a new wave of emotions. Each memory slicing deeply and perfectly into your soul.
If you have a family, a friend or two, a job, a method of transportation, a place to rest your head at night, and food to nourish your body, YOU ARE BEYOND BLESSED.

"Our strategy should be not only to confront empire, but to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To shame it. To mock it. With our art, our music, our literature, our stubbornness, our joy, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness – and our ability to tell our own stories. Stories that are different from the ones we’re being brainwashed to believe.
The corporate revolution will collapse if we refuse to buy what they are selling – their ideas, their version of history, their wars, their weapons, their notion of inevitability.
Remember this: We be many and they be few. They need us more than we need them.
Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing." ~ Arundhati Roy
