  • I think we can all agree that for us writing is so much more than a way to pass time. - Writing is peace after a long, overwhelming day.
- Writing is an escape when reality is too much to handle.
-Writing is the words we refuse to say out loud.
-Writing is our lives, and we wouldn't have it any other way because we love it. In the end, that is all that matters.

Have a great day and share what writing is to you!

  • The social media full of people, young and free,
Are all excited and on a sharing spree.
Avengers Endgame is approaching,
Tik Tok is banned, society is progressing.
Keeping now aside, a bit of your glory,
Let me narrate to you a smile threatening story.
A little while back humanity is shuddered,
Another angel brutally murdered.
She too was a girl, like you and me,
A student with dreams, age twenty three.
She too was a daughter,
Now a victim of gruesome slaughter.
She too was a sister,
Not spared at a mere blister.
But i better keep silent,
What if society becomes violent.
While we can't witness a dead clear visage,
I surely raise a question on social media coverage.
Some game or some app gone, society is progressing,
Marital Sexual assaults are still on, no ones addressing.
No one's stopping those who conduct molestation,
No one would care about the rate of deforestation,
And torture animals in the name of celebration.
All your memes, all your throws,
Why not a word against those regressive TV shows.
We still live in a society with a superstitious omen,
Molesters walk free, we discriminate menstruating women.
We judge people who dare to dream,
We confine the security of a brown person in a tiny tube of fairness cream.
My plea is not to the higher administrations,
It goes to the youth with high aspirations.
You've the social media, you know your might,
Its time to determine what's wrong and right.
I don't intend to put a hindrance on your celebration,
I just need from you a moment of your attention.
Show them the flaw,
Help them develop the law.
Sorry for wasting a good amount of your time,
Consider it a moral or an aimless rhyme. . .
I'm late. I was silent all this while. But Madhu's case was tormenting. This does not go to the administrators, they are doing their job. What bothered me is the youth of the social media. They were extremely occupied showing that they obtained tickets for a movie or random happiness at the ban of an app. I was so shocked no one shared or wrote anything about this case. Only a very limited amount of people decided to use the hashtag.#JusticeforMadhu.

  • Free tea at Aroma Joe's today. An Easter gift from the establishment. A great way for them to show appreciation for their customers: Little coupons in a plastic egg with a piece of candy. Working on chapter nine of the manuscript today. #freeisnice sometimes. #writingismylife #writingismyfreedom #writingjourney

  • Yes. More chocolate 🍫
How was your Easter?
I wasn't sleeping well last week so I struggled getting everything done BUT I did manage to enjoy the beautiful weather ☀️ Back on it this week and I'm ramping it up.
Not to mention, back to writing! ✍️
This dark chocolate Lindt bunny is helping. I had my eye on him before Easter and then yesterday found him half price! 😋

  • A little morning reminder to be brave. None of the scenes and characters that have stayed with you forever were written by someone playing it safe all of the time. So today, remember to jump, and trust those wings will keep you afloat as you make your way down into whatever wonderful world you’ve dreamt up 💕

  • “Vulnerability is Strength: Chelsea Handler’s ‘Life Will Be the Death of Me’”
➖➖➖
Let me preface this book review by saying this: I love Chelsea Handler. I love how she is unapologetically herself. She keeps it real with her opinions and doesn't sugarcoat anything. That "what you see is what you get," / "I am who I am" type of attitude is sometimes what I aspire to have, and is what draws me to her personality. While I know her sense of humor isn't everyone's cup of tea, I appreciate her for remaining true to herself, despite what others may think. In her newest memoir, Life Will be the Death of Me...and you too!, Chelsea shows an even more vulnerable side to her that I, and many others, haven't seen before. She gets candid about her year in therapy, opens up about the loss of loved ones, drugs and marijuana, privilege and politics, and the hardships that come with being a dog-mom. All while making use of her sarcastic attitude and sense of humor, she strives to come to terms with why she is the way she is, and remains open to the idea of bettering herself...
