Two bison bulls testing their strength against eachother during a snowstorm in Yellowstone Nationalpark. Happy with how it turned out, because to me, this one feels like a painting 🖼 ❄️

Going home today. 🤘🏼(Although this is @southforkcabin and not our house. But...we want to paint our house this color in a few months so that counts for something, right? 😆) ⠀⠀ What a wild, fun, adventurous week it’s been in the Rockies! We’re thankful for the opportunity to have experienced Rocky Mountain NP, Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone in the summer - we know it’s now the first of many trips to come. ⠀⠀ We’ll be writing about our itineraries on TheMandagies.com and sharing tons of photos, but first we want to sleep! ⠀⠀ Give us a few days to recover and we’ll bounce right back into things. You guys are the best 🤘🏼
It's always been something about mountains that made me feel at peace.
•Looking back at these photos; I close my eyes and it feels like I'm there again, driving through yellowstone , listening to you go on and on for hours with your wack stories. I can hear all of us laughing because our other car got chased by a bison . I can see you standing there all upset because you almost fell off a cliff and lost your phone( thankfully you didn't and I found your phone) , we made so many memories on this trip and I will never forget them but I really I would love just one more moment with you. I miss you .•
Always keep your loved ones close and never ever take them for granted. Tomorrow is not always promised , hug your loved ones ..
Flying flowing streams of glass
Teetering towering trees of brass
Chittering chattering creatures creep
Lone wolf stalks still ready to leap
Stone of yellow I can feel your roar
I never know what you have in store -Jess
Went through some old archives the other day from last summer on the road 🚐 I completely forgot about photographing this big guy out in the field and how amazing Yellowstone was. We didn’t get much time here so I’m definitely excited to go back!
