Curiosos e sedentos pelo novo, muitas vezes acreditamos que a nossa alegria estará apenas no fruto das ações que realizamos ou em algum outro momento e lugar;  e ,por consequência, esquecemos que só podemos ser, sentir e ter esse exato momento. 
A transformação ocorre a cada instante, a cada respiração. Mas, precisamos estar presentes para percebê-la.

E na ânsia do Futuro ou no apego ao Passado perdemos o Presente. Perdemos a oportunidade de sentir, de se transformar e evoluir.... pois com a mente flutuando em diferentes tempos não observamos o pensamentos, sentimentos e ações; nos aprisionando cada vez mais na roda do Samsara, acorrentados aos padrões pré existentes. .

Aprisionados em nossos padrões permanecemos na escuridão da ignorância. Impossibilitados de nos conectar com toda nossa potência transformadora e evolutiva. .

A prática de ashtanga tem me conduzido cada vez nesse processo.  O constante processo de desapego dos frutos das ações, e o quão presente ou ausente estou em minha respiração, em minha prática e em Mim. 
Por vezes me esquecendo do contentamento e da contemplação que toda prática pode proporcionar. Mas, tá tudo bem, pois a paciência é um dos dons  que adquirimos durante essa caminhada. .

E assim sigo,dia a dia, no processo doloroso e gracioso da evolução.... grata por todas alegrias e angústias que ele me trás. ✨✨✨

  • Compression without Leverage! Try this flow and see how many of the transitions you can do without your hands. As I flowed though it (with crazy focus) I aimed to bring my chin to my shin without the added leverage of a clasp or bind. I always love taking seemingly “simple” flows and adding challenge by lifting the ball of the foot or not suing hands to add some focus and heat! -
In other news, tomorrow my middle kiddo, Nolan, and I head to Oahu for five days! It’ll be my first time traveling solo with him and I’m not sure who’s more excited! 🌺✈️🏝

  • Depth & Duration — Key elements in yoga practice. If truly invested in the journey, we have to think long-term, not necessarily short-term. Even if we have logged in many years, the depth we bring to the table each step of the way is integral and directly correlates to the wisdom that is extracted. It takes conscious attention through the long-term. Slow and steady builds solid ground and greater quality. However, long-term is one thing, but consistency is also part of the recipe to deeper understanding and experience. If our practice is sporadic and unpredictable we lose valuable rhythm that regularity brings. Now, it doesn’t always mean we are pushing limits everyday, that isn’t always sustainable, but what I have learned, is getting out of our comfort zone just a little, and even gently, offers greater sustainable growth and change, but it needs to be consistent!
.
When caught up in the short-term we tend to suffer more in practice. One day we may feel open and light. The very next day, we could very possibly feel tight and heavy. Daily, there are ups and downs. In the long-term, if we are engaged with consistent effort, there is always growth and development whether, physical, mental or spiritual. We have the vantage point to see where we have come from and continue the vision of where we are going, knowing that everything changes while learning to relax with acceptance.

Bring depth and attention to what you do, commit to the long term, be consistent, and see what happens. This creates a beautiful synergy not only in yoga, but through many endeavors we create in life. ✨ #practice #larugayoga

  • My intention for my Lego hippies today was to identify the thoughts that may crop up during our yoga practice and symbolically release them but my creative idea went a little wrong - do scroll across to see the sad results. 😀. Another opportunity for my growth no doubt. 
Are you always comparing yourself? criticising yourself? Putting yourself down? Pushing yourself? Giving up? What we do on our yoga mat is what we’ll be doing in the rest of of our life off the mat. There’s a saying “how you do anything is how you do everything”. Holding space for ourselves to see how we often limit and self sabotage can be more helpful to us than touching our toes or doing a perfect warrior one in the long term. 
Our time on the yoga mat can be an opportunity to observe our habitual patterns and maybe we can be open to releasing the ones that don’t serve us. Finishing our theme of letting go with lots of twists to release any stress you may be carrying. Supported by Doterra’s essential oils of Lemongrass - to dissolve negative emotions and Basil - the oil of renewal and uplift.

Очень-очень хочется пройтись по хрустящему снегу в морозную погоду, но топаю по мокрому асфальту😀⠀
В общем-то все очень необычно в этом году. Но в одном уверена - март будет снежный, так было все мои почти 30 лет жизни😅

  • Ce début d’année est chargé. Nous allons bientôt vous présenter notre projet avec Sébastien et honnêtement je me mets une sacré pression. Si je ne suis pas cachée sous ma couette on devrait vous parler du nom et du contenu la semaine prochaine 😊
Ma pratique chaque matin m’aide vraiment à prendre du recul, à atténuer mes angoisses, min stress et tout ce que peut raconter mon mental si je le laisse divaguer...
Et toi ? Tu la gères comment la pression ? Tu as des outils qui te font du bien ?

  • Our brains are kind of like a remote. We have the power to program it & control it! 
This remote has been used to binge watch a lot of Netflix over the past few days!  My husband is 5 days post op and I am enjoying his company.  But this remote is also programed to access thousands of workouts.  As much as I love laying on the couch, I also want to look good for my husband!  There’s no shame in that. I want to look good naked!  Yep I said it! I also want to feel comfortable in my skinny jeans and in my swimsuit! (9 weeks till Punta Cana) 
Why do YOU workout?
  • Our brains are kind of like a remote. We have the power to program it & control it!

  • Did you know practicing yoga daily even if it’s 10 mins a day can help reduce tension headaches? How about aid in lowering BP (blood pressure) levels? Practicing daily can even help to increase flexibility in the body. I bet you didn’t know practicing yoga can even aid in you refraining from cursing and/or slapping your coworkers out. True stuff.. Yoga awareness can even aid with breathing especially if you suffer from asthmatic attacks. Learning pranayama techniques help to increase and open up lung capacity. Not to mention, it helps you get away from breathing from the chest and moving toward a more mindful abdominal breathing. Not only is yoga good for the things I just stated, but it will aid in mental stability such as anxiety and depression. Building a daily practice will help you go inward and dismiss those external issues. .

Starting in a few short mins. I’m offering yoga via online a dollar a minute. Take advantage of the possibilities to smile again, to increase flexibility, to aid in relieving achy or painful joints and muscles..   • Im easily bored, obsessively creative and feel lucky and grateful to make a part time career around full time parenting. 
When I left performing arts to develop my own yoga system, I fused all element of my experience and training.

  • Today, I feel guilty. 
I know that I have to move my body (yoga, gym, hike, SUP, etc…) every morning or else I don’t feel right. I started to do this to strengthen my body but learned how important this is for my mind. It helps me manage my anxiety and stress. The endorphins help me elevate whatever project I’m working on and I just all around feel better when I start my day this way.

Today I skipped yoga. 
I was awake but it was 5:30am and I didn’t want to get out of bed. My body was telling me it needs a break (I’m super sore from excessive shoveling) but my mind was telling me I should go. My body won over my mind.

I couldn’t get back to sleep and I’m filling my yoga time with writing and creating in hopes that my guilt dissipates. Tomorrow morning is a new morning and I’ll do what I can to get fresh air today.

So, instead of being in tree pose this morning here is me, posing beside a tree.

Surrounded by the mountains of the beautiful corregimiento of Servitá, approximately 2 kilometers from El cerrito, Santander, are the ruins of a mysterious place known as the ‘Seminary of the Devil’. "People say that many years ago a man cut a mortuary stick and began to carve the figure of the 'devil'. Apparently, this was so perfect that the demon appeared to him and asked him why he had done it in such a way, as if he had seen it before. This is how Lucifer decides to kill this man, leaving the statue adrift, which is later collected by the seminarians to protect it for a long time inside the cloister". 👻☠️

mira para atrás, para todo el día recorrido, para las cumbres y las montañas, para el largo y sinuoso camino que atravesó entre selvas y pueblos, y ve hacia adelante un océano tan extenso, que entrar en él es nada más que desaparecer para siempre.

Pero no existe otra manera.
El río no puede volver.
Nadie puede volver.
Volver es imposible en la existencia.
El río precisa arriesgarse y entrar al océano.
