I’ve been thinking a lot lately about manifestation, & how it seems to be that universe more or less ends up giving you what you ask for. It might not be something you’re asking for consciously, but it’s worth considering whether the question is there 🤔 Ultimately, I think that life gives us what we need to grow... & more often that not, we create our reality in that way. Think carefully about what it is you’re dreaming about. You might just get it... Buuut, having said that, it might just be exactly what you need 💁♀️

I have been struggling a bit for the past few weeks and days with recovering from a gynae procedure and then flu 🤕🤒
It was a bit of a revelation how HARD I found it to do "good things" for myself for a while there
👉🏽 Like meditate, and eat well enough to be strong, and take the vitamins (yes, I was even too weak and unfocused to NOT take the time to swallow vitamins 🤨😅🤦♀️) and get fresh air
I did manage to do my practice but even then, its been HARD af
I just finished practicing yoga and training arms & shoulders and now I'm going to practice chinstand!😜

After a lot of hard work & nearly 5 months later I am a yoga teacher. Im so very pleased. I’ve worked so hard and put a lot of time and effort into yoga and that fact it has all paid off is really a great feeling. It’s something I find very hard to say I’m proud of myself, but today I really do feel proud.
I have probably been a nightmare the past few months. My amazing Greg has supported me all the way 🧡 along with my mum & dad and all my amazing family & friends. Not to mention all the lovely people I have met on my course, we are all yoga mad & it’s amazing 😂🙏🏽
Lots have been happening over the last couple of months, learning to be a yoga teacher, working full time... and preparing for our new house 🥰
It’s a dream come true, our own beautiful house to carry on this journey through life with my best friend Greg ❤️. We currently live in Birmingham, however we want to be closer to our families and friends after being away from everyone for 2 years! And getting to see them on the odd occasion.
So excited to be able to offer 1 to 1 classes in my own home, local group sessions & garden practice in the summer months 🧡 Dm me if you’re interested in starting yoga or just wanting to carry on your journey. Lots of classes and cool things to come 🧡

This low-to-the-ground sequence is great work for the anterior core, and it also has some creativity thrown in with the unique transition into & out of malasana (squat pose)!
Starting in malasana on a yoga blanket, bring both forearms to the floor. (This will tip your squat forward - kind of rotating it 90 degrees - and you’ll want to be on the balls of your feet now.)
Press through the floor with your forearms to engage your upper body, and *keeping your hips low*, slide the blanket straight back behind you until you arrive in forearm plank.
Keeping your spine & pelvis absolutely still, attempt to slide the blanket backward a small amount more - just as far as you can slide back and then pull yourself forward again without moving your pelvis or spine at all (i.e. no arching your low back 😀)
Once you’re back in your normal-length forearm plank again, keep your hips low as you slide the blanket forward and attempt to bring your knees to your arms with control.
Then sit lightly back into malasana and appreciate the great work you just did! And then turn around and do it again heh heh 😉

Define your GOALS. Muscle building? Fat loss? Longevity? My baseline is LONGEVITY. Simply feeling great in my own body. 🧜🏻♀️A happy belly - no pain, good digestion, no bloat (learning to tailor my diet to my own body has been life changing)!

In this photo I see strong body, calm mind, and an inner contentment all of which was cultivated through practice...some days it all flows easily and those days I celebrate myself. Somedays I need to go back to my meditation and yoga practice deeper for the inner empowerment, no one has it all together all the time but isn’t it beautiful how imperfectly perfect we can still be. ❤️

"UP SIDE DOWN 🤸♀️
Today, I assisted two yogis into their first inversions.
There is genuinely nothing like seeing how excited people get when they experience being upside down for the first time... Giving them the feeling of weightlessness, the ability to see the world from a new perspective and 'stand' on their heads is one of my favourite parts of teaching.
But it also requires a great deal of trust from the student - trust in themselves, trust they won't fall, but also trust in me to catch them if they should.
I feel so grateful to my students for placing their trust in me today - and also every day.
So, thank you to all the yogis I've met on the mat so far. Yoga is such a personal experience and to have been invited in to guide that journey is truly humbling.
Good morning beautiful souls! I have been working so hard on developing more postures with my practice and these are 2/3 I’m focusing on mastering at the moment. ☆ Pincha Mayurasana (forearm stand) and salamba sirsasana (headstand) are almost for 2 favorite positions to be in, I cannot understand the level of concertration and clarity I receive every time I’m holding each pose. Also the level of advancement I gain every day , the progress I see within myself not just physically but spiritually is just transformative to me ☆ **also random side note- I have been dealing with insecurities for my dark underarms that I gained from shaving all the time, if you know of any natural ways of lightening them back to its original color that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! 💋
