I have joined the team at @oranjgrandeprairie and am SO looking forward to subbing for some of their amazing yoga teachers. ⠀

COS'É
Lo yoga è una disciplina molto antica, una pratica spirituale, una scienza.
Il primo approccio che normalmente si ha con lo Yoga è prevalentemente fisico. Attraverso l’esecuzione di Asana (posizioni) rendiamo il nostro corpo più forte e più flessibile.
Il respiro consapevole ci accompagna nel momento presente, il qui e ora, aiutandoci attraverso una pratica regolare a sciogliere tensioni e blocchi che ostacolano il fluire della nostra energia vitale (Prana).
Il senso di benessere che normalmente si prova durante e dopo la pratica rivela la natura di questa disciplina millenaria, i cui obiettivi sono più che mai attuali.

Il Vinyasa Yoga è uno stile dinamico in cui le posizioni vengono eseguite in sequenza seguendo il principio del flusso armonico di respiro e movimento.

Just focus on the next ten seconds. 
The next good choice you need to make. 
The next inhale you allow to fill up your body. 
My mom always said these things to us growing up. 
When I allowed my mind to run away with ideas and fears and preconceived notions. 
When the world all the sudden seemed so large and frightening it took the air out of my lungs. 
I just made the next good choice. 
That might have been feeding myself, or simply showering. 
But small things lead to bigger things. 
Keep doing the small things and step by step you WILL be ok.

  • Бывает ли личная практика йоги без травм 😕🤔???

Не знаю, как у вас, но у меня чего только не было 🙈 Роняла горшки с цветами, отбивала пятки, падала на плоскую спину, получала тыщу раз защемления, сворачивала шею, травмировала запястья, перетягивала излишне сильно ноги, мучила свою поясницу в неправильных прогибах 😞😞... и ещё куча всего!

Через моё тело столько всего прошло, ум настолько пытливый, что в погоне за красивым положением страдает здоровье. Позвоночник 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Не надо так. Но все равно все продолжают делать.
.
За последний год моя практики очень сильно поменялась. Пришла осознанность и я понимаю, что процесс куда важнее, чем цель 🎯: заветный шпагат путём порванных связок, красивых прогиб через ужаснейшую боль в пояснице 🙌🏼🙌🏼
.
Не надо ничего доказывать на коврике! Ни себе, ни своему соседу. И Инстаграму тоже! Ноги сами постепенно растянутся в нужное положение, баланс придёт с постоянной практикой, а ноги коснутся головы в скорпионе 🙏🏼🙏🏼 А если нет, то и фиг с ним! Ваше здоровье важнее красивых фотографий 😌🙌🏼

Я вот как-то практиковала стойку на голове и чуть не свалила дорогущий телевизор 😁🙈!!!

유연성이 좋은 요가강사는 아닌지라 이런동작은 언제쯤 될까 했는데, 오늘 와주었네요.

신기하게도 휴일동안은 매트에 올라가려 해도 몸이 잘 안움직여지고 집중도 안되서 몇가지 스트레칭 외엔 안하고 축축 쳐졌어요. 오늘부터 다시 정신에 수련모드 키고 마음 잡고 매트 위에 올라갔는데 몸의 단단함과 유연함이 더 잘 느껴집니다. 확실한건 몸과 마음은 정말 연결되었다는거. 쉬는 동안은 무의석적으로 마음 한구석에 쉬자고 말하고 있었나봐요. 오늘 정신차리고 움직이니 너무 개운해요 ☺
수련을 통해서 직접 몸과 마음으로 경험해야 알 수 있는 이 느낌. 그래서 요가합니다 🙏🏻

I was worried that getting🏃🏿🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ to try🧘🏼‍♀️ might be difficult but I've been so impressed by people's willingness to do something out of their comfort zone, whether that's yoga for the first time or simply being brave enough to take the photos. Seeing all your poses has been an absolute joy and I've cherished the opportunity to share a little bit of your yoga practice with you. I really wanted to have a challenge that anyone could have a go at and from the number of new yogis I (think) I achieved that.

What I'd love to know is;
• if you could change one aspect of the challenge what would it be?
• do you feel more open to incorporating yoga into your life?
• and most importantly, should we do another one in six months time?

  • Who else love compass pose? I love all variations of compass pose & seated compass is one of my my go-to poses. I always have it in my warm up sequence. It does so much for the body - spinal twist, side body stretch, shoulders stretch, hamstrings stretch & hips opening.
