Happy hump-day all! 🐪
When asking Ben for ideas for this caption, he first suggested I tell you all about something nice that happened at my work today, but then, he very quickly changed his mind, and requested I brag about him instead. So, here we are. 😏
As much as Ben can push me to (and over) the limit sometimes, he does have one redeeming quality that makes me very happy - his cooking. @ashmacreads knows this, and aptly refers to him as the Personal Chef. He's great at Italian, Mexican, a dab hand at curry, and a master of the classic comfort foods. I, on the other hand, manage my way through the kitchen, and can just about manage a tasty bowl of ramen noodles covered in cheese. His talents at cooking are particularly appreciated as I'm really food-motivated; I use it at work to (sorta) remain productive, and you can guarantee I'll be looking forward to a delicious dinner at the end of a long day as mama gets hangry. 😤
So, I think what I'm getting at is, does your other half wow you with a quality or skill that you'd struggle to live without? Is there something they're a pro at, that you're a little envious of? 🤔
Also, let me know your favourite meals! I'm hoping Ben @ben.j.taylor can master even more cuisine so I can reap the tasty reward. 😋
The juiciest, most flavorful crab legs you’ll have. Actually surprised myself. And I don’t play around with seafood

Melt 1 stick of butter + 3 segments in a pan, incorporate about 1/2 cup of brown sugar, stirring constantly on med-high. Add in enough old bay until the sauce is tangy, flavorful and completely red. Add in kosher salt, good amount of garlic and garlic pepper, Basil and Parsley, while still stirring. Add a few tablespoons of lemon juice. Let the sugar dissolve and let set on the side.
Preheat oven to 375° F
Lay (already defrosted by soaking in cool water but now completely dry) crab legs on a baking tray, use 3/4 of the sauce and pour over the legs. Put in the oven for 10 min exactly.
Quarter cut red potatoes, wash and coat with old bay, throw in salted boiling water for about 6 minutes or until tender. Strain and dust them in a little old bay. Pour the leftover sauce on the cooked potatoes and toss them.
Enjoy and I hope these turn out as good as it did for me. I took it upon myself to randomly add brown sugar but I’m glad it turned out so much more flavorful and caramelized very well. #crablegs#cooking#cheffinitup#yum#foodie#goodfood#goodseafood#seafood#homecook#food#delicious

Often times cookies are included! 😍

Have you had a Smörgåsbord before?! I discovered these bad boys in Copenhagen and I've been trying to recreate them ever since! They're open sandwiches - basically the most incredible and colourful toppings on rye bread. A must eat when visiting Denmark 🇩🇰🤤😍
