I know it’s late - I’ve had another crazy day but I didn’t want to miss the chance to say - Happy Earth Day! Sometimes we get so consumed with all our gizmos and gadgets we forget the wonderful world around us! Here is a list of some small things you can do to celebrate our little blue planet!
1. If you have somewhere to be try to get there without your vehicle. Even just trying to stay off the road 1-2 days a week can make a big difference in your greenhouse gas emissions.
2. If getting a morning coffee is part of your routine - use a reusable cup. Same goes for reusable bags and, of course, no plastic straws!
3. Be a vegetarian for a day.
4. Try to be intentional about your water and electricity usage. Even just doing something simple like turning off the tap while you’re brushing your teeth can make a big impact over time!
5. Create a rain barrel to capture rain to water your plants/grass.

It gives you peace of mind, it gives you options, and the more you save, the easier it becomes to accumulate additional savings.

Photo # 4 is an unintentional double exposure of a red top down Miata ( frame #35 ). And by instinct we still wind the camera to check if there's any more left and took the last shot of the building as frame #36 . Turns out #35 was the last frame.
